If the translation of this article is word for word perfect, or as close as possible...Kiefer talks as if he's an American citizen. I'm disappointed to learn that he feels as he does about our government and has so much adoration for the French...the French, who seem to have forgotten how much the good old USA did for them. I've known that Kiefer has leanings toward Socialism, but it saddens me to learn that he wants the United States to go in that direction. I hoped that he had more common sense than that.
I want to add here that I have no animosity toward the French people, and it's true that France now has a pro-America leader. Still, this love of Socialism bothers me. I know Kiefer comes from a Socialist background. I know he hopes that Obama becomes president. So does Louis Farakhan, George Soros, the American Communist Party, and many others who hate America. If anyone thinks that, in my first post, I was implying that Kiefer isn't intelligent, that's not the case. I do think Kiefer is a smart guy, but...intelligent people can succumb to unwise thinking.
